1:1 patient to doctor care.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I need a referral from my physician to seek physical therapy care?
You do not need a referral from your physician to seek physical therapy care. Oklahoma allows patients to undergo physical therapy care for 30 days before requiring a referral from their physician. If the patient and therapist agree treatment should continue beyond 30 days, Premier Physical Therapy can assist the patient with the referral process and provide any necessary documentation to the patient's physician.
-
Do I need to have an actual injury or surgery to seek physical therapy care?
No, many patients still benefit greatly from physical therapy care to address symptoms, concerns, or movement issues they might notice. If certain exercises or movements are causing pain, come see us, and we can help you work through these and get you back on track.
-
Do you take my insurance?
Premier Physical Therapy is In Network with Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). This means we accept these insurances and will submit claims. For all other insurances, we are Out of Network. Out of Network means we operate under a fee-for-service model, and that your insurance is not billed for services provided. Appropriate documentation can be provided (Superbill) to the patient to seek reimbursement from their insurance for services received at Premier Physical Therapy. We are more than happy to accept funds from HSA or FSA accounts for all of our services.
-
What forms of payment do you accept?
Premier Physical Therapy accepts cash, check, credit/debit card, HSA funds, FSA funds, Venmo, and Paypal.
-
What do I wear to physical therapy?
Please wear something comfortable to all your appointments that you can easily move in. We will most likely have you up and moving and exercising throughout most of your appointments. We will also need access to certain parts of your body that might be hurting or are areas of concern. If you are coming for aquatic therapy, please wear or bring whatever you wish to wear in the pool (swimsuit, t-shirt, shorts, etc.), a change of clothes, and a towel.
